Inpatient Minnesota Model
Inpatient Minnesota Model

The Minnesota Model is aimed at treating harmful use of alcohol and other psychoactive substances, as well as pathological gambling. During the 4 weeks of Minnesota Model patients learn to analyse their feelings, adjust their ways of thinking and reinforce their positive behaviour. Moreover, strong motivation for sobriety is established, while the Twelve Step principles are taught to be applied in daily life situations.

Daily schedule is strictly adhered to in the Unit. Patients attend individual and group consultations with specialists: psychologists provide psycho-corrective counselling, group psychotherapy and other therapeutic sessions, social workers deliver lectures, patients watch and discuss selected films, attend classes to learn basics of the Twelve Step programme.

Support of close ones plays a significant role in patient’s recovery, therefore family members are encouraged to consult the psychologist available in the Unit.

Should you prefer to receive treatment anonymously, the service is paid. Service price list is provided in the Paid Services section.
